One of the most frustrating things about buying keycaps online — especially from small brands — is the shipping. You place an order, and then... nothing. For days. Maybe weeks. You email support and get an auto-reply. The tracking number finally arrives and shows "Label Created" for five business days straight.
I hate that. You hate that. Let's not do that.
Here's exactly how shipping works at WASDWORKS:
Processing Time: Within 3 Business Days
From the moment you place your order to the moment it leaves our hands:
- Day 1: Your order enters our queue. We process in order — first come, first served.
- Day 2: Your order gets picked and packed. Yes, we actually check the set is complete before it goes in the box.
- Day 3: Quality check + handoff to carrier. You get your tracking number via email.
We guarantee shipment within 3 business days. If anything delays your order beyond that, you'll hear from us proactively — not the other way around.
Shipping Transit Time: 3–15 Business Days
Once your package is handed to the carrier, transit time depends on where you are:

Every single order ships with a tracking number. No exceptions. If you don't get a tracking number within 3 business days of ordering, something went wrong — email us and we'll figure it out immediately.
Customs & Duties — We've Got You Covered
This is the part most brands hide in fine print at the bottom of a page. Not us.
For standard orders, we handle the duties.
What that means in practice:

We use IOSS (Import One-Stop Shop) for EU orders and similar prepaid duty schemes where available, so your package clears customs fast and without surprise fees at your door.
"What about special tariffs?"
If your country has active trade restrictions or special tariffs that apply to our product category, we'll email you before shipping to explain the situation. We're not going to let a package get stuck in customs and then tell you "sorry, that's on you." That's not how this works.
We don't mark packages as "gift" to dodge customs. That's illegal and can get your package seized. We declare the actual value and pay the duties upfront so you don't have to deal with it.
A Few Honest Notes About Shipping
"Why does it take up to 3 days to process?"
Because we're not Amazon. We don't have a warehouse full of robots picking and packing orders at lightning speed. It's me (or one of my friends) physically putting your keycaps in a box, checking the set is complete, printing the label, and getting it to the carrier.
We'd rather take the time to make sure your order is right than rush it and send you a missing key. If we hit the 3-day mark and something's still not shipped, I'll personally email you with an update. No ghosting.
"Why don't you offer overnight shipping?"
Because keycaps are small, lightweight items. Paying 35 keycap set feels wrong. Standard shipping keeps costs reasonable for everyone — and since we cover duties, the total cost to you stays fair.
If you desperately need them tomorrow... honestly, I can't help with that. But I can promise they'll ship within 3 days and arrive in one piece.
Package Tracking
Once your tracking number is sent, here's what the status updates actually mean:

If your tracking says "Delivered" but you don't see your package:
- Check around your door, mailbox, or with neighbors
- Wait 24 hours — carriers sometimes scan before actual delivery
- If still MIA after 24 hours, email us. We'll work with the carrier to track it down.
Lost or Damaged Packages
Lost in transit? We'll investigate with the carrier. If it's confirmed lost, we ship a replacement at no cost to you — no questions asked.
Damaged in transit? Take photos and send them to us within 48 hours. We'll ship a replacement immediately.
We use sturdy packaging — corrugated boxes, bubble wrap, the works — but sometimes carriers play football with packages. If that happens, we've got you covered.
Shipping FAQs
"Do I need to be home to receive my package?" Nope. Most carriers will leave it at your door or in your mailbox. If your building requires a signature, the carrier will leave a pickup notice.
"Can I change my shipping address after ordering?" Email us within 24 hours of ordering. If it hasn't shipped yet, we can update it. Once it's in the carrier's hands, we can't redirect it.
"My tracking hasn't updated in 5 days. Is it lost?" Probably not. International shipping sometimes has long gaps between scans. Email us and we'll check with the carrier — but usually it shows up fine.
"Do you ship to military addresses (APO/FPO)?" Yes. Same processing time, same tracking. Delivery can take a bit longer depending on the location.
